Journey View

The Journey View contains all events in a journey (web session)

It can be accessed by:

  1. Selecting tab directly
  2. Clicking on a journey_id in Data Table

Journey timeline

The journey timeline shows the timing of steps made in a journey

It can be navigated with scrolling and zooming.

Clicking on dots will highlight the corresponding events in the data table.

Customising timeline

The journey timeline can be customised through the settings.

  • Group by: Determines attribute for vertical grouping on left hand side
  • Label: Determines attribute used for label given by each dot
  • Tooltip: Determines attribute displayed when hovering over
  • Palette Applied: Determines conditional formatting of dots

Template

Templates allows saving of the formatting of the journey timeline visual

Selecting a template will restore that journey view format
